He had the ideal retort after a woman humiliates a police officer for eating lunch at Burger King while on duty.

Many of us have hectic days where we’re rushing from one task to another in an attempt to do everything before the deadline.

Everybody has had days when they can barely find time to use the restroom, let alone plan their meals.

However, when we do get a break, it’s wonderful to have five minutes to unwind and eat, and police officers are no exception.

One woman made the decision to humiliate PC Andre Owen for stopping to get food during his one 12-hour break.

His social media answer has gone viral, with thousands of people showing their support for the diligent police officer.

Andre Owen is aware that being an officer is not an easy job. In his capacity as a Police Constable, he is also aware of the tremendous effort that law enforcement personnel worldwide put out to ensure public safety.

It goes without saying that diligent people like our police officers occasionally need a vacation.

They may appear to be superheroes and save lives, yet they are still merely people.

Police Constable Owens had been working for seven hours straight, and he still had paperwork to finish and a 100-mile drive to make when he took a break.

He made a brief stop at Burger King because he knew he needed to eat to get through the remaining several hours of his work.

Regretfully, one of the women in the restaurant didn’t give a damn. She made the shocking decision to call Owen out for purchasing meals while working in order to embarrass him.

Computer Owen prepared to get back in his car and make the lengthy drive back to his station after getting himself a burger, coke, and coffee when a woman spoke to him:

“There are criminals out there that need to be caught while you’re in here stuffing your face.”

The officer responded as best he could at that point.

Owen shared his tale on Twitter after being shocked by the woman’s reaction to him stopping to eat after spending what seemed like countless hours assisting others.

He claimed that as he was waiting to pick up his order, the woman who had reprimanded him for purchasing food had glanced at him before making the remark.

Thousands of people showed their support for the diligent cop after PC Owen’s tweet went viral. After five years of service with the Sussex Police, Owen received more attention than he could have ever dreamed.

“I posted it on Twitter, and the post received a ton of favorable feedback. According to the Evening Standard, he stated that the purpose of the tweet was not to elicit compassion but rather to expose the people to the truth of what is typical in the United Kingdom.

The police officer told The Mirror that before the woman yelled at him, he had had a very hectic day.

He was hungry, exhausted, and prepared to wrap up his shift at 3 p.m. that day at 2 p.m.

I was given a major job in Brighton five minutes after I started my shift. As part of the same assignment, I had to drive nonstop to Oxford while single crewed after dealing with that,” he stated.

I made my first bathroom stop of the day at a service station halfway through the return trip! I also had apple pie, Coke, a cappuccino, and a double whopper meal while I was there.

When the nameless woman saw the officer in uniform, she decided to assume certain things about the situation.

Owen remembered, “A woman, eating her own food, kept staring at me while I waited.”

“After gathering the food, she said something along the lines of, ‘While you’re in here stuffing your face, there are criminals that need to be caught out there.’” I grinned and simply walked away without a word.

The cop claimed that after volunteering to assist a family with a broken-down automobile, his shift grew even longer, reaching twelve hours.

He didn’t hesitate even though his shift was over. Owen pulled over and helped pull a couple and their kids to safety by stopping traffic.

I then used my blue lights to protect everyone around me as I waited for recovery to come get them. It made my already exhausting day even longer by an additional hour,” Owen said.

Regretfully, he still had a hundred miles to travel before returning to the station. He had a ton of paperwork to finish before he could leave for home.

At 7 p.m., his shift was finally over.

Even though it’s lengthy and the woman irritated me at the time, he said, “I love my job and generally wouldn’t change it for the world.”

Police officers are also people! We appreciate PC Owen’s efforts and commitment to keeping our streets safe, and I know that many cops can identify with his tale.

Despite the hard and unappreciated hours, the majority of police officers genuinely enjoy their work.

Risking your life for total strangers, many of whom would hate you for the small transgression of taking a lunch break, requires a tremendous degree of dedication.

Therefore, instead of making assumptions, smile at a police the next time you witness them grabbing a quick bite.

Sometimes we don’t know what they’ve been through or what they’re going through. Additionally, keep in mind that cops are also people.
